What I love about CMH
I began my teaching career at Children’s Meeting House in 2000. I have always loved the relaxed atmosphere that allows children to be comfortable within the classroom and among their peers and teachers. I also enjoy being outside and CMH allows for the children to take some of their learning outdoors and into the natural environment.
What I love to do in my free time
I enjoy taking walks, going to the beach, taking my 4 children to new places and watching my children play sports.

Accomplishments:
My Family: Bob, my best friend and husband of 35 years this October and our amazing adult children, Eric and Kelly.
Being a co-developer in the creating of a new Infant Toddler Montessori program.
I am a Facilitator for Fernside which serves grieving children and adults.
Receiving my Montessori certification, from MACTE of Cincinnati for Montessori Teaching Certification. Following teaching in traditional schools I researched other methods, I was so intrigued by Maria Montessori and her philosophy and techniques; I wanted to become a Montessorian!
Work History:
After being a “domestic engineer” for over 16 years I went back in the work force. Following my passion of “making a difference” I was a Resident Coordinator for Evergreen Retirement Center for 4 years. Instructional Aide for 2nd grade at Our Lady of the Rosary for 4 years. Co-teacher 1st and 2nd graders for a charter school serving children with ADHD and Augsberger. Co-Teacher at Central Montessori Academy 3 years and Lead at Terry’s Montessori 2 years.
I would like to share how excited I am being part of the Children’s Meeting House Community. The facility is beautiful; the works are very enticing and everyone has been so welcoming! Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to touch your child’s life as I know each one will touch mine.
I am also very excited to be the pioneer of our wonderful More Montessori and enrich our precious younger friends!!
