Tuition & Fees

Instructional programs and childcare costs

All the details about class ratios, before & after care, payment plans, and more.

Tuition per enrolled student is indicated below for each instructional program, as well as fees for our childcare programs. Please note Class sizes are indicative and may vary. Tuition does not include the cost of one time supply fee, overnight field trips, the 6th grade or 8th grade graduation trip, the service fee for those choosing to pay tuition by month, and extracurricular activities not integral to the normal school day. The general comments following the fee data further explain our tuition and fees.  More about enrollment forms and schedules for the upcoming school year can be found on our Admissions page.

  • By Month: Pay the enrollment deposit upon signing the tuition contract and pay your remaining obligation in twelve equal monthly payments from June 15 through May 15. CMH has expenses of a continuing nature. So that our programs and services can be provided over the entire year, it is essential that annual income from tuition be assured. Accordingly, an enrolled family’s obligation to pay Children’s Meeting House the full amount of the tuition contract becomes binding on the date when the Director of CMH signs the tuition contract. This obligation is not affected by the family’s withdrawal of any student from CMH for the coming school year at any point after this date. In rare cases, exceptions to this policy may be made on an individual basis upon evaluation of individual petitions made in writing to the Board of Trustees.

Financial Assistance

We want your child at CMH – let us help make that a reality.

CMH does offer a financial assistance option per family on a yearly basis. Families seeking assistance must file an application through the Independent School Management Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) Program. Our financial assistance process is explained below.

We have chosen to use the FAST program because it is designed to be very responsive to our families. It is more flexible in terms of the information it will accommodate, thus allowing families to represent their own particular circumstances more accurately. To ease the online application process, FAST provides 24/7 help desk support. For CMH, FAST provides a needs-based financial assistance analysis service that ensures our process for establishing financial need adheres to nationally established standards of best practice. All information provided through FAST will be kept confidential, as will all other information pertaining to a family’s financial assistance request.

Financial assistance grants are made for one year only. Families seeking assistance over a longer period must reapply each year. Applications are due by the end of February for consideration in the following school year.

Application Process
The online application process is self-guided. You may navigate in and out of the program, allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at another time. Online email assistance and a 24/7 helpline are provided. The charge for the application is $43.00, to be paid by credit card at the end of the session.

FAST has prepared a Parent User Guide (the PUG is also downloadable directly from the FAST application site, along with an application worksheet). After completing the online application, you will be required to mail your previous year’s state and federal tax returns (when available) with all schedules and W-2s to: FAST Processing, ISM, 1316 North Union Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19806-2594.
