Children’s Meeting House Montessori School (CMH) is accepting applications for the part-time
position of Nature Teacher. Looking to enhance our program currently in its 53rd year,
successful applicants will with other existing faculty in beautifully prepared environments to
support the growth and development of children.


Successful candidates will have leadership and organizational skills as well as a comprehensive
educational vision that are consistent with the school’s mission and the Montessori educational
philosophy. Additionally, successful candidates will have:


●Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
●Naturalist or Outdoor Education Certification
●Knowledge of the use of hand tools and gardening equipment
●Ability to work with both students (3-14) and adults on campus in a productive and
respectful manner


Capabilities to execute the full care and upkeep of campus out-of-doors
Demonstrate an interest, background and knowledge base which includes:


o Native Plants
o Garden Design
o Arbor Cultivation
o Both Horticulture and Alternative Pest Control
o Linkages within the Garden Community
o Composting
o Botanical Nomenclature
